Our 7-Step Retreading Process
1) Buff & Repair
The worn tyre is inspected and buffed to remove the old tread, creating a clean, smooth surface. Any damage to the casing is repaired to ensure it’s ready for retreading.
2) Cementing
A special adhesive is applied to the prepared surface, ensuring a strong bond between the casing and the new tread.
3) Filling
Damaged areas of the tyre casing are filled with rubber compounds to restore its structural integrity and ensure even wear.
4) Building
The new tread material is applied to the tyre casing, aligned precisely to ensure proper performance and durability.
5) Enveloping
The retreaded tyre is covered with a flexible rubber envelope to eliminate air pockets and maintain even pressure during curing.
6) Chamber
The tyre is placed in a curing chamber where heat and pressure vulcanize the new tread to the casing, bonding them together securely.
7) Final Inspection
The retreaded tyre undergoes a thorough inspection to ensure it meets quality and safety standards, ready for reliable use.
This streamlined process not only extends the life of your tyres but also reduces costs and environmental impact.
